NOT SATISIFIED, lost my sex drive- had penile pain and a lot of trouble with erections. and it shrunk the size of my penis.

Just started Avodart. Reading reviews scared the heck out of me. Worse is that the negative effects remaim after you stop using the drug. Seriously considering stopping

No side affects. PSA much better and Prostate is much smaller.

Been on Avodart for a couple of years, it has helped stop the urinary tract infections but I have felt fatigued for most of that time. Sex life dropped off to zero. Stopped taking it about a month ago and seem to be ok so far.

I stated taking Avodart at 62 and after a month lost my ability to have a Erection. No matter What my wife Or girlfriend does I can not get a Erection. Viagra Or Cilais does not work. I have to use a Vacuum pump to have sex. This stuff should be subscribed to sex affenders.

This drug turns men into women. Designed to kill male hormones. You will be a Eunich. Just take Flomax to urinate easier. Avodart is garbage.

Have been taking for one month and have already found good results. Down from 5 times per night to two times. No sexual or other side effects

Urinary flow much better, but sex drive stopped even with Viagra. Worth trade off? No. Am rtrying every other day before stopping Avodart. No breast enhancement, thankfully.

I am 79 years old, and have taken Avodart for four years. Big reduction in PSA, and I getup only twice during the night to pee. The difficulty comes from the side effects which are serious for me. Enlarged breasts, penis has all but disappeared, no semen production and an erection would be a miracle. More importantly is the soreness in my joints, constant tiredness and loss of energy. None of these were present four years ago. Flomax was ineffective. I also notice a marked amount of muscle atrophy though I am in body building still after many years of serious lifting. I am going to discontinue the drug, sit back and see what happens. I am hoping my boobs get smaller, my urination is not hampered drastically and my energy and sex drive return.Read More Read Less

I used this medication for over one year and it worked for me. I am no longer using this medication and my urination problem has improved a lot.

I took Avodart for about one year. The results are almost like castration on sexual drive and ability. I've been off of it for two years and the sex drive did not come back and my BPH did not improve enough to keep me from having to get surgery. My recomendation, DO NOT TAKE AVODART.

horrible stuff. I am 85. I had dizziness, light headedness, weakness, complete lethargy, all I wanted to do was stay in bed, nausea. I felt worst than I ever had in my entire life. This was pure poison to me, and it did NOTHING for the urination. I was ready to be admitted to the hospital for testing when my family dr diagnosed this as a drug side effect of avodart. Avodart poisoned me. I stopped taking it two days ago and all those effects are gone and I am a new man.
