Went to Dr on JAN 2. She gave me the 30 sample pack and stated she will have her office refer my to be evaluated by a psychologist to be tested (why I have to go to a psychologist to be tested for ADD is beyond me). Started this medication slowly 18mg, then 25mg, then 40mg and now 60mg. The side effects were immediate. Piercing headache, overly sensitive to light, fatigue and severe drowsiness. Wh ... My 15 yr old daughter was taking 80mg for about 6 wks. We determined it was not working. Went to the pharmacy to get higher dose prescription filled and learned it was going to cost over $200 per month. We will never know if higher dose would have worked cause cannot afford it!
