I do recall that in the beginning I had to take it at night cause it would knock me out but as time went on I began to take it in the morning with no problems. My 7 yr old daughter took this for a month & while it worked wonders for her, the side effects are just not worth it, so I took her off of it. She was terribly moody & cried or screamed all the time. I have never seen such a dramatic or sudden change in someone.

When my daughter first started taking this medicine, she would complain about nightmares. It took months for her to stop complaining about nightmares. I didn't make the connection then. But I had to take it and had paralyzed nightmares. Thta's when I made the connection. It has helped my daughter with her cough but doesn't always prevent allergies.
