Been on it for one month. Not worth the side effects. Gained 7 lbs, got my period twice after not having it for 20 months and having chest pains.

This med works perfect for high blood pressure and kept it at a perfect level, but after a year of terrible side effects I am switching meds. Unexplained and rapid weight gain with fatigue were hard to deal with. This med didn't work with my active and healthy lifestyle.

My doctor prescribed this medication today to treat mypersostent anxiety disorder. After just 2 10 mg doses I experienced asevere asthma attack which lasted mmore than 6 hours even after asthma treatment (use of nebulizer, and inhaler). I recommend that anyone with lung problem, not use this medication,

My doctor prescribed 40mg twice daily and it has made such a difference in the essential tremors syndrome. Also, I've noticed that the tremors are actually easier to control when they do start. And I haven't noticed any side effects at all. The only thing that Inderal hasn't helped with at all is handwriting. No way is anything I write even remotely legible. Perhaps dosage needs to be adjusted?
