This is the first drug I have had to battle depression I've had for about 10yrs. Finally I made the decision that my family & myself deserved to be happy. It's a wonderdrug!!! If I knew it would change me back to the fun person I thought I would NEVER BE AGAIN,I would have taken it long ago. My advice to someone considering trying it- What do you have to lose? Hi. I have been on paxil for about four years and have had success with it. I have a long history of meth abuse, Ive been clean and think the paxil helps me. Not easy though. any meth use is abuse!

I have been on Paxil for 15 years. I have also been on it while pregnant with one child and breastfed 2 children while on it. Both children are healthy and have suffered no ill effects from it(they are middle school age and younger). I started taking it for depression/anxiety/panic and within 3 days I reported to my psychiatrist that the cloud had lifted. I went off it with my first child and str ... Show Full Comment
