been taking four years,last several months have been a nightmare with problems I have developed with muscle attacks & cramps. Dr has run all kinds of tests to see what is wrong. found nothing but cost me plenty of money! I stopped pravastatin,without Dr approval & problems getting better.May have permanant muscle damage. Dr wants me to try Zetia. from what I read, it's no different.should

I had a very bad side effect from this pill. Only took it for 1 week and I was having muscle spasms and charlie horses in my legs, toes and feet. My hand crimped up and my back spasmed all the time.
