Worked very well but had to stop taking it, give me a rash and itchy head

I have severe side effects from blood pressure medicine. Labetalol is the only one that i seem to tolerate. now after 15 years i am getting frequent hot flashes when i take it.

I've taken this drug for 2 years, and have gotten steadily more and more short of breath when just doing menial yardwork, have also put on 20 lbs., severly tired, and dizzy. I Intend to wean myself off this drug. It was prescribed by a Cardiologist, so my family Doctor, won't try something else. I'm also on Lisinopril and Norvasc. I'll keep using those.

I have found that this drug (300MG 2X a day) is keeping my BP down, but it really has some annoying side effects that I see others have posted. Tingly scalp, and sometimes legs; light headedness, especially in the morning; I cannot breath as well, and this is most notable when exercising; VERY sore leg muscles after running if I take the daily dose before running, I have to run just before my next ...
