    Works quickly and very well. All other pain pills make me drowsy. Percocet does not.

    I had an apeco at the oral surgeon's office and I tried, Advil, and Darvocet but it was not touching the pain and swelling in my face. I had 8 stitches in my mouth over the infected tooth. The surgeon gave me Percocet and within 20 minutes I felt relief. I had no side effects except that maybe it made me sleepy which was OK.     i am this med and have been for several years in combination with other meds and PT and a main management specialist and injections for many things including early onset of osteoarthritis, and degenerative disc, and bulging deteriorating discs in my spine i have only 25% mobility in my spine, scoliosis among other problems and i fond so much more relief with this than i have with any of the othe ...     I have scoliosis and experience severe pain at times if I overdo. I find this medication eases the pain quickly. I do not take it everyday only when needed.

    This medication has been a life saver. I have chronic back pain due to three herneated discs and degenerative disc disease. I could not work or even take care of myself without this medication. However, it bothers me that some people abuse the drug because it makes doctors skeptical and makes it difficult for me to get.
