Initially, I experienced a caffiene-like effect, but that ended after the first two weeks. Overall, my depression has subsided, I can focus on my family, job and other activities. No more bouts of crying, binge eating on sweets/carbs, and no more horrid thoughts of death and dying.

Comment:
it's the best antidepressant med out on the market...the only downfall is that it's costly & the generic form is far worse than not being on any medication at all. The generic form has an opposite effect - mood swings, sensitive, crying spells, etc.

Wellbutrin provided me with the best possible results to date. Other drugs such as Paxil, Effexor and others has horrible side effects.

This medication had the opposite effect on me! I was hostile, aggressive, angry, cried all the time, could not think clearly, had headaches, and I felt like my skin was crawling. I would not recommed this drug to anyone - too many severe side effects.

This stuff was like being on speed for me. I had the sweats, my heart raced constantly, and I was just going and goin without being tired. After about a 2 month period I took myself off and all symptoms stopped.
