Started on flomax but didn't like side effects. Take 5mg Cialis in the morning and Alfuzosin after evening meal. Works great for BPH and minor ED. No side effects so far. No dizziness. Much better urine flow and erections. Also changed to a low oxalate diet and am drinking more fluids because I also had problem with bladder stones. So far so good.

After 2 weeks of every other day, I have aches in joints and dull to moderate headaches and flu like symptoms. Taken as substitute for Tamsulosin(Flomax)to relieve side effects of prolonged erection, retro ejaculation, increased time to ejaculate and reduced sensation of orgasm. Initally needed something to help pass stones. Needed to increase weak stream - this doesn't work as good as flomax

Since I was taking Levitra for ED, my doctor said this would work as long as there was 4 hours between both medications. My typical BPH symptoms have mostly gone away such as frequent urination, difficulty starting, urge incontinence, and weak stream. No side effects. I take it after evening meal.

Using for enlarged prostate. Was on Avodart for some time and apparently I needed more "helP" so ALFUZOSIN WAS PRESCRIBED. They did the job and have had zero problems over the past year!

I have used this medication for quite some time. It seems to have taken care of my problems with my prostate and kidney stones.

I have been on this drug for 15 months. I feel less lightheaded than with Flomax. Recently, my pharmacist switched to another lab and I have far less episodes of lightheadedness. My physician recommended using more salt as a way to raise my BP. I have low BP because I have been an athlete since age 14; my current resting pulse is 50.

This was prescribed as an alternative to Flomax by my urologist. I think it has performed slightly better. But my problems are as much a result of kidneys stones as enlarged prostate. In general, am better after removal of kidney stones from bladder so....?

No appreciable side effect. Urination greatly improved, sexual performance unaffected. Couldn't be happier.
