After having had a hysterectomy due to fibroids I began having multiple uti's and was prescribed cipro several times. The uti;s cleared up, but I had flu like symptoms and horrible panic attacks and palpitations. I didn't connect the panic attacks and palpitations to the cipro right away, unfortunately. Over the years I have had to take this ever now and then due to combination of Urinary and Prostate infection. So far it has worked great at my age of 68 and has for years past.I can tell when my problem is coming on and I start to take the med's and so far it has cleared it up with no side effects.

I was diagnosd with a urinary tract infection by culture...had no side effects, cloudy urine cleared within one day. Took with food, drank at least 2 liters of fluids a day. Follow up culture two weeks later was negative.

cipro 500 mg for 7 days after the first day everything went away but now its about 2 weeks later and i believe its coming back! i did have slight nausea,dizziness and drowsiness. felt like i was walking around in a haze, i will deff be contacting my docter again, not happy with the results and deff in more pain!
