I've been taking this for about 6 months, no pregnacy, so it works. Reduced acne and regluar periods also a plus. However, I get old brown blood discharging at random times occationally, like it didn't all come out during my period and waits a week or two to send out the rest of it, kind of gross. Also, the mood swings are making me crazy. I have never had crazy mood swings before but o ... Show Full Comment

I've been taking this birth control for about 3 years and I am very satisfied. I suffer from mild acne and the trinessa actually helped with my acne. I still get break outs before my periods, but it is usually 1 or 2 pimples. I usually start my period the Tuesday into the placebo pills and end Sunday. The downside is that my period may start up again and officially end on that next Tuesday. Be ... Show Full Comment

I switched to this from Loestrin 24 FE, which I loved, but TriNessa is free on my insurance. I read these reviews before switching and was honestly scared to do so, but I haven't experienced any of these side effects. I do get nauseous from time to time, and experience 1-3 days of cramps during my cycle, but otherwise I have no complaints. My skin is in fact even more clear than when I was on ... I've been taking this birth control for about 6 years now and have had no major problems. I usually get my period either tuesday or wednesday into my placebo pills. It usually lasts till about sunday/monday which is a downside. Also, about a week before my period, I usually break out a little on my face (1-3 pimples) and my breasts get a little tender. Over the span which I have been taking it ... Show Full Comment
