I'm using the drops for bacterial conjunctivitis. I just started using it yesterday and my eye feels better after 4 drops. I have to use it for 5 days, so I'm hoping day by day it will continue to get better.

I was given this to clear up my pink eye. Seven days later they are much worse. Dr prescribed another antibiotic and in four hours I had relief and my eyes look better. This antibiotic dies not work and more expensive then second antibiotic.

I am on my second round of the drops and seems exactly the same as last time. The redness goes away within 24 hours, but by day 4, my eyes are itchy and I'm waking up with crust again. Last time, I took the drops for 5 days, but continued to have crust on my eyelids in the AM for at least another week until finally it seemed to go away on its own. A month later, I mistakenly used contaminated makeup from the last bout, and caught it again, so I'm self-diagnosing/treating. My ENT (ear nose throat) DR prescribed this to my daughter for ear infections. An eye drop for the ear, I know, but it works! And saves the immune system from all of the antibiotics, which for an infant can cause problems later in life.

Eyes burn, red, tired & unhealthy look & feel.

Used two series of this drug with no relief at all.

I've been using this stuff for 7 days and my eye is still a mess!! When I wake up it looks a little better, but after working for several hours it looks worse than it did when I started using it.

After 4 days my eye is still hurting alittle & it is not white. Prob will have to go back to dr.

It doesn't work. I've used it for more than five days and my eye is not getting any better. Actually, I think it's getting worst

These drops are awesome! They worked within twenty for hours... my eye looks SO much better. The infection is basically gone now.

this med. took to long to clear up the red. it seems like a slow med.

I had pink eye in Oct I had to use ointment. Three times a day with a period of 30 minutes each time for my eyes to clear....couldn't do it, I had to work. This way it took 7 days for my eyes to clear. Gentamycin drops..perfect! Three times a day was so easy, and so much more effective. Within 24 hours my eyes were white again, even though I kept the drops going for 5 days.

This is VERY difficult to use on my child. Is there anything easier to use on a child for this problem?

This ointment was very effective in treating my family's pink eye. It cleared up in2-3 days. It was however quite difficult to administer to my two-year-old. It took two of us- one to hold him down and the other to pry his eyelid open to apply the ointment! It does work quickly though so it was probably worth it.
