I seem to experience being irritated. Could be due to steroid use. Also I didn't realize you need to hold the eye shut for a couple of minutes to keep the medicine in as much as possible.

I was given this medication to treat IRITIS, something I have never heard of before. I was diagnosed 4 years ago, when it flares up, I have runny eye, light sensitive, redness, headaches, runny nose they say its an inflammation of the iris. It keeps coming back each year. I was told that i can rotate from eye to eye which I have not experienced (thankful for that). They always put me on this steriod eye drop Pred Forte. All I can say is that it works for me and I hope it always will as long as this mess keeps popin up. Read More Read Less

i was given this medicine to take every 2 hours for the first 3 weeks after an eye globe repair surgery that followed after being seriously injured (poked in the eye). it has worked very well for me. i am now taking it 4x a day. because of the extent of my injury and my retina in danger of detachment, i will on this medicine for a long while. i am also being treated with atropine sulfate 1x a day. the only thing i dont like is the bitter taste and sometimes, not always, gives me dry throat. and yes, the eye is connected to the nose and sinus.Read More Read Less

The only thing that bothers me about this medication is the horrible taste it leaves in my mouth about 20 minutes after I use the drops. It was prescribed to me for GPC (giant papillary conjunctivitus) after using Lotemax, which did not cure the infection.

I just recently had Lasik done. This medication gave me a stuffy nose. Everytime I use it I cant breath out of my nose. I had to purchase nasal decongestion spray! I have to use the spray everytime I put the drops in my eyes. Also, after I drop the medication into each eye I can taste it in the back of my throat. It has a very bitter taste. Being able to taste the medicaton is very odd to me...I didnt know your eyes were connected to your throat?

Used to treat eye inflammation of unknown origin. I had this inflammation for several months and when I started this drug, it cleared the inflammation in one week.
