Major success with reduction of tremors. The only difficulty I've noticed is with vision which may or may not be caused by the primidone. I have many other meds that I take for various malfunctions so finding what is causing specific problems is difficult. this medication has work very well for me. i take two pills every morning. i exerience the tremors at time but not nearing as severe and i don't experience any side effects.

I have been taking primidone for over a month now to treat my hands shaking. My Dr. started me out slowly with 1/2 tablets (50 mg) 2 times a day and built up from there over a 31 day period. I'm now up to 3 tablets 3 times a day. I still have the shakiness especial in the morning and sometimes when I use the keyboard. My husband started at 50 mg for 1 week,quickly went to 100mg the second, 150 the third week and tonight I gave him 200mg. He also is experiencing severe itching in his hands.
