My husband started at 50 mg for 1 week,quickly went to 100mg the second, 150 the third week and tonight I gave him 200mg. He also is experiencing severe itching in his hands.

I have been using primidone for 2 yrs for hand/head tremors that began 5 days after my 2nd mastectomy (Surgeon said "no connection). My tremors improved after using 2ea 50mg every nite but Doc increased me to 250mg per day for some reason and now I am experiencing weird things such as turning the water faucet the wrong direction for hot water, trying to pick up the hot stove grate right after ... could using this med cause my shoulder muscles to hurt? Dosn't seem to be working on the shakes in arm and hand.
