I have ad insomnia for over 15 years and I have gone through a dozen over the counter sleep aids. I finally decided to use this drug and it worked GREAT. I get 8+ hours of sleep a night and I do not wake up once! I used to toss & turn all night long and wake up feeling extremely tired. I have hallucinated a few times, and I tend to be cranky/have memory loss in the mornings though.

Comment:
Zolpidem has been a very effective sleep aid for me over the past seven months. I take it 5-6 nights per week and am able to achieve a full night's rest without awakening until morning. In the morning, I feel refreshed and have no sense of drowsiness; my memory has not been affected by this medication, at least that I can recall. Take it 30 minutes before retiring; the effect will be apparent.

i fall asleep much faster and sleep longer since using ambien. i only take it once in a while, when i need to sleep. sometimes it makes me dizzy when it starts kicking in, and thats my cue to get in bed. good sleep aid with less side effects in the morning after.
