Took it for 4 months and have just recently stopped after gradually reducing dosage from a maximum of 40 mg. Anxiety has returned, but I also feel more clear-headed -- like I awoke form a foggy period. Pros: - Reduced anxiety as evidenced by no desire to surf web or watch TV at night before going to sleep. (a habit that wasted time and reduced my sleep time). - Effective for social anxiety. ... Show Full Comment

I started taking 30mg of Buspar for generalized anxiety and for panic attacks. Adusting to this medication was difficult. I felt manic and had a huge increase in anxiety and panic attacks. I have been taking Buspar ... Show Full Comment

I've had anxiety so awful I could barely leave the house, I've taken many other drugs and had this with the best result. Barely any side effects with great results - the worst side effect for me is I get hungry after taking it.
