I started with the bisocodyl tab at 5 pm followed a couple of hours later with the halfLytely and here it's midnight and I am still going . I had the cherry and was so nauseated with this and I am freezing and shivering I drank all but part of the last glass as I was so nauseated . . Turned off the air as I am so cold. I didn't expect to feel so lethargic.

People don't believe the horror stories. This stuff is gentle, effective and tastes fine if prepared properly. At 2 PM, 2 hours before the first dose, I mixed the drug without flavoring and placed in freezer to create a light slush. Beginning at 4 PM each 8 ounce cup was mixed with a half packet of lemon lime sugar free Crystal Light. Tasted like a margarita without alcohol. I basically si ... Show Full Comment

Used as part of my reaching the age of 50, having a routine colonoscopy. Stuff is not tasty, but not horrible. Mainly the aftertaste. The key is to drink fast in one big gulp, don't sip it. Then chase it with Gatorade. Also use ice cold water. I experienced some bloating and very mild queasiness. Cleared out my bowels for sure. If you are in basically good health, don't fret it. The worst ... Show Full Comment

This was my 3rd time having a colonoscopy and this was my WORST experience in prepping ever. After spending $50 for the script, I ended up throwing up after drinking half of the mixture and had to end up going to drug store to get something else. I used the cherry flavor pack, but the thickness and the sodium taste was more than I could bare. I will def ask for something different in 5 years when ... Show Full Comment

Besides the bad "flavored" taste, the stuff doesn't start to work as quickly as you'd like to just get it out of you. You need more pill laxative to get it started. I know there are cheaper more effective ways to clean your colon out for a colono scopy. Ask your pharmacist, friends or family and check the product reviews before you choose this one.
