I am very pleased with Vesicare. Having problems with OAB my doctor placed me on Oxybutynin a few years ago. Oxybutynin began to cause server constipation, and its effectiveness to correct OAB had diminished. My new doctor placed me on Vesicare 5mg about two months ago. The OAB problem was almost eliminated. I have control of both my bladder and my bowel. The frequent need to urinate and the const ... Show Full Comment

MAJOR CONSTIPATION, even with high doses of Metamucil three times a day! I was given this medication because my insurance company would no longer cover Detrol LA, which worked beautifully with no side effects. Now taking Oxybutynin which is OK, not great, but OK.

I started to use VesiCare 5 mg about ten days ago. It works like a charm to control the frequent urination... but afer three days of taking this med. I got a disabilitating back pain and blurred vision that send me to the doctor. My labs indicate that I also had a kidney infection and high liver enzimes. I decided to stop taking VesiCare. I may give it taking half a pill each day.
