I hated this medication. I had been taking Ambien and my sleep specialist requested me trying Lunestra. I lost a whole weekend. I had difficulty waking up and felt really dizzy and sick for 2 days. I literally could not function the whole weekend waiting for this drug to wear off. I felt over medicated. This was accompanied by a horrendous headache lasting 2 days. Awful stuff.

Did not help me sleep, I kept waking up. It left a bitter taste in my mouth the next day.

Hi I have had insomnia for many years and Lunesta is the first Rx sleep medication that has worked well for me with almost no side effects. When I take it with time to get at least 7-8 hours of sleep I wake up rested, do not feel drugged or fuzzy. The only side effect I experienced happened only twice in the many times I have used this medication and it was a minor effect causing a bad taste in ... Show Full Comment
