Other than being tired most of the time, my thoughts have slowed down tremendously. I find it easy to sleep at night and during the day my concentration level has greatly improved. I have found it to be much more effective than the newer generation antipsychotics.

Thorazine has helped curb my incessant thinking, stopped bizarre thoughts and probably saved my life along with Paxil (I once heard a voice telling me to take "all those pills", and I did.) Its one side effect has been sleepiness, which helps me get to sleep at night. I have had trouble doing normal thinking when on a large dosage so I've worked to get my dosage down to a satisfactory level. Now my thinking is clearer and I still have the tranquilizing effect which keeps me sane. I'm wondering now, though, if it is causing me the extreme fatigue I am feeling.Read More Read Less

I had psychosis with multiple personalities, nausea, and migraines. This medicine, along with phenytoin (for seizures) helped me to think straight. However, I now feel like I have no personality and I am always tired. I'm not psychotic anymore, but I'm not normal either. I can't think like I used to, but at least I am not extremely confused anymore.

This drug literally saved my life. I was a wreck before it, constantly dry heaving and not able to keep food down, after the first night i felt so much better and i got a good rest, more than 3-5 hours finally.

Thorazine was a drug that had zero effect in bringing clarity to a confused and troubled mind.Looking back,it may have even kept it more confused. After stopping it's use I found a world I was unaware that it existed. There were some failures to come but the status quo had been broken and I've never had to look back in regret.
