My sister was given Fluocinonide by her doctor for an itchy scalp and her hair was falling out. She used this medication for about three months and like some miracle, her hair grew in extremely thick and looks like a perm! Her hair has always been naturally straight. She's ok with having curly hair now, but more ecstatic about having so much thick hair. I am going to try using this medication sinc...

After an extended period of time using this topical fluocinonide I experienced hair loss in the area being treated.

Went to Dermatologist and was prescribed this medication. It does leave an oily wet look on skin, but works for me. The itchiness goes away after 1 min after applying. I have random itchiness on my skin could be eczema or bug bites, but regardless, medicine seems to work for me.

My doctor prescribed this for eczema on my hands. After 2 days of use my rash was gone. I apply it when I feel an itchy area starting and it is helping to control the redness and blisters from even starting. I am amazed at how well this medication worked for me.

I get little pin sized blisters that cover my palms/fingers. This clears it up faster than just letting it dry out. I've used it for over 10 years off and on for a couple days at a time. Right now using it for reaction to my UV allergy (shoulders/chest/back).

I tried everything and my psoriasis would sometimes get a little better, but I could never get it to go away. I was nervous about using a steroid cream, but so glad I gave it a try. I was having a really bad flare up and the cream burned for about 10 minutes when I first put it on. The next morning my skin looked a little better, so I kept using it. By the end of the week you could hardly see any red and the texture of my skin is........... well just like skin again instead of the thick red leathery texture. I'm sure I'll get another flare up and I'll keep my use to a minimum, but it sure is nice to be able to wear short sleeves again.Read More Read Less

I used this for scalp psoriasis. For several years, it worked - I'd put it on and the psoriasis would be gone for a week, or even a few weeks. Then it stopped working. I switched to Taclonec, which, as a gel, was more difficult to apply to the scalp, but it still works.

It's been a God-send for me. My face gets really red between the inside corners of my eyes and the bridge of my nose as well as in the creases around my nose going down to my mouth and occasionally on my cheeks. I've tried regular cortison bought over the counter which does nothing, but this stuff has the redness gone with usually no more than 2 days dosing at once per day.

It works very quick. I use this on my scalp and in my facial hair (beard, mustache, eyebrows) I am told to not use it on my face as it will cause "Thinning of the skin" I'm not sure what that looks like but this medicine works. Sure it stings a little at first, it's got alcohol as one of the ingredients. It goes away and by the nest morning, the flair up is over.

Been using this for a week for a recurrent rash that was previously treated with prednisone. Doctor did not want to prescribe prednisone for the third time so we're trying this. It helps with the itching, but the rash is not healing as fast as when I would be taking prednisone. It also is a pain not to be able to cover it and because of the placement on my ankle, the gel gets on everything!

I have had eczema for 42 years. As a child it was severe and I would get secondary infections frequently. Ive tried many different medications because some doctors worried that fluocinonid would damage my skin. Nothing worked as well as this. Its the only thing that clears up my skin and I have eczema from head to toe. So far no damage to my skin.

Although it cleared the rash from an allergy from nickel plate items ( such as metal buttons on jeans, etc ) The area that was treated on my granddaughter was just above her navel. Her skin has turned white and will not tan. The doctor said the only fix would be a tat over it.

I had incessant scaly itchy scalp psoriasis; had tried OTC remedies and prescription drugs. This is the only one that worked almost instantly. Within 2 weeks I had no scales, hence no itching. Still losing hair though.
