I've tried other sleep aids and none of them worked. Ambien works quickly and lets me sleep ALL night (on most others, I wake up after a few hours). Unlike over the counter sleep aids, there's no "hangover." I'll take 5 mg to 10 mg when I need it. The highly publicized sleep-eating phenomenon is an actual issue but easily avoided. I've been on generic Ambien for about 6 months & have noticed that I have bad breath. This is definitely NOT due to poor oral hygiene. Has this ever been listed as a side effect?

Zolpiden is easy to take and works effectively. The things I have experienced though are memory loss and headaches when I take it and not get the 7 or 8 hours of sleep it says to make sure you get. I feel uneasy when taking this medication and not getting the full 7 or 8 hours of sleep. When i do get the right amount of sleep it works fine

I have alot of racing thoughts at night and sleep very little. When I started taking this medication I would take one and be asleep within 15 min, and I was told I have held conversations with people and don't remember them. I feel good when I wake up in the morning and only feel groogy for the first 15 min after waking up.
