I have been taking this medicine for years off and on as needed to increase my appetite. I buy it flavored from Wal-Mart. It is Awesome to increase appetite and tastes great in bubble gum. With this medicine, there is no reason for anyone to be underweight. It is awesome!!!!! Highly recommend it!!!!!

My husband is recovering from esophogeal cancer. He had chemo and radiation at the same time for 34 days straight, then the surgery. Due to altered tastes (salty or burnt) he's been losing weight steadily and went all the way to 119 lbs. His oncologist doubled his Megace and Ensure, but it makes him dizzy to the point of falling.
