I was prescribed 2mg for irritablily associated with Asperger's syndrome. Never mind the fact that anyone in my situation would have been irritable, not least of all because my father had just died, I could not get any emotional support, and I had been repressing all anger and irritation for five years previously. Instead of teaching me to be more assertive, let's just make the emotions go away, right?? Well anyway. On 1-2 mg, I slept constantly, had such pain in my hips, shoulders, and pectoral muscles that I could not walk or lift my kids, and could not think clearly enough to do simple household chores without someone to remind me of each step. I had all the negative emotions-- in fact my depression worsened until I became suicidal-- but my therapists thought everything was great because I appeared calm due to having no ability to think clearly enough to express what I was feeling. All in all a horrible drug. Unless someone is very violent, I would not even consider Risperdal for treatment.

I have been taking risperidone 2mg daliy for the treatment of pathological gelosy since four years , I am great except one thing there is no ejaculation at all, I dont care because I am over sixty and I have my children before taking this medication, my doctor tells me that taking 2mg and having such result is called precious respons>

this medication has worked wonders for my depression i am under control and able to go on with life again like i never thought i would but the side effects are very upsetting please read this i was an all a's student in high school i dont remember multiplacation anymore if you ask me a question it takes me way more time to respond than it should it has slowed down my thinking ill be speaking and i ... I took this drug for anxiety and was never the same. My life has been ruined by this drug. Because of it, I can no longer feel emotions, sleep soundly, stay still, remember simple things, get an erection, or relate to other people. I have been off the drug for months now and I still feel like a lobotomized zombie. Honestly, I'd rather it had killed me.
