While it was slightly uncomfortable to use at first, I soon got the hang of it. Used this for 7 days (seven syringes were included), around night 3 I had some stomach upset but that was the extent of the side effects. I will have another urinalysis done in 2 weeks to see if this cleared whatever infection I have/had. TIP: it's going to be obvious, but definitely make it a point to wear a pad or pa...

Please make this your very last result to clear the problem. I’m allergic to the pills and my insurance wouldn’t cover the cream so they gave me this. To warn you this burns and it gives no warning or at least I didn’t see any. It almost had me in tears. Also I recommend laying down while doing it because it slides out easily and inserting it back in is more painful. Taking a probiotic or drinking a yogurt with probiotics in it will help from it causing more issues.

My OBGYN prescribed me this medication for bacterial vagnosis, first I tried an oral medication (flagyl) and the side effects were not pleasant, so I tried the suppositories. It was a 3 day treatment and it worked well for me. I had no side effects with the ovules, I think the trick is to insert the ovule as far into vagina as comfortably as you can and I didn't experience any burning. It is oil based so it's normal to have bit of discharge. I was nervous at first but it has worked wonders!

The first time I used the vaginal inserts, I had no pain with the BV only odor and discolored discharge. The Cleocin caused zero side effects and I saw improvements after day one. This time, the BV caused itching and irritation. As soon as I added the Cleocin insert, there was minor burning for 5 minutes. I again saw speedy results after the first night. The irritation subsided overnight. Both times, I used all three suppositories as directed.

Used 3 nightly inserts in a row. Felt relief after day 1 of use and completely cleared my BV up! Have used this twice now when I’ve had BV and it works great and only issue was a bit of leakage from the medicine!

I was terrified to try after reading reviews. But I had no side effects at all. It’s oil based so wear a pad because it leaks out a little. Smell was gone after one use. No side effects 7 days after so far.

I just did day 2 of the treatment thinking that it was only burning because it was new and my body had no idea what it was when was I wrong. I am in more pain than I was yesterday in my applicator was thrown away. Also I just learned a very hard lesson on... DO NOT COMBINE this with water, trying to take a bath with this to try and help with the burning only makes it worse. I mean like 10 times worse.

I am using the three day. Seemed to clear everything up. For those of you who get yeast infection from taking these types of antibiotics, it's because it kills the bad and good bacteria. So I take women probiotics (make sure it says flora health on the box) with this antibiotic to replace my good bacteria. It balances everything out. That's the trick!!!!!

I was prescribed three days of 100 mg Cleocin Vaginal Suppositories for bacterial vaginosis after having a horrible reaction to metrogel. I had high hopes for the Cleocin but, after taking two doses, it made the pain and burning I was already suffering with TEN TIMES worse. Within minutes of inserting the ovule it felt like my vajayjay was on FIRE. Then, to top it all off, the Cleocin also caused wicked stomach pain and diarrhea. After two days enough was enough and I called my doctor to tell him that I wasn't taking the third (and final) dose of Cleocin because of the side effects. His VERY annoyed reaction was to tell me that the Cleocin suppositories "couldn't possibly be causing diarrhea" (despite that being one of the many nasty side effects listed on the prescription insert!!!) He also found it "hard to believe" that the vaginal burning could be "that bad". I almost blew my stack. Believe me, it took every ounce of restraint I had to keep from telling him off. Calmly, I asked him to recommend an alternative medication but he snapped that there "aren't any" and told me to call my gynecologist. I did just that and she promptly (and courteously) prescribed compounded boric acid suppositories. She told me that she uses them all the time for people like me who have bacterial vaginosis but have bad reactions to metrogel and cleocin. Hopefully the boric acid will help my condition because the Cleocin suppositories were a first class disaster. Take my advice and stay away from this stuff - IT IS BAD. Read More Read Less

I did not have a great deal of leakage, but save your undies!! No leakage throughout the day (at least for me), but I wore a panti liner just incase. Read More Read Less

I have only been on this medication for 2 of the 3 days and so far I have no complaints or side effects (I am taking the 3-day vaginal suppository). The only annoyance I had was that the suppository doesn't stay in the vagina and I had to push it back in and lie down until it dissolved. Use a panty liner the next day as some of the medication will leak throughout the day. So far, so good!

Well, the only reason the product was easy to use and the first time I use it. At first it sting only for about 15 minutes after treatment of myself. And the only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 because it's my first time useing this product. I think I give it an A-. For now I am ok.
