I have been on this for 21 years ; no problems taking this; there is a precaution to avoid excessive sun although I have never had any problem; it does change the color of your urine to a bright color ; I have taken it while pregnant but had to wean down prior to delivery for clotting purposes; I also nursed my baby for 3 months while on it and no problems for either one of us.

There are countless pills to take. It never ends. The pills also turn my skin yellow when direct contact is made (i.e. hand).

I've been taking this drug for arthritis and it seems to be working. The only bad thing about taking this drug is it's making my thick curly hair thin out alot.

This Enteric Coated Drug is the best on the market. No need to take the expensive Asacol as this drug is less expensive and for me works better than anything I have taken (I have taken all of the other meds for this disease!) No problem with staying out in the sun using sunscreen. No headaches. As long as you can take Sulfa - give this drug a try to not be a sufferer of Inflamatory Bowel Disease (Ulcerative Colitis) -- Get your life back. Used for about 5 years - been in remission taking 2 (500 mg) pills a day. One in the am and one pm. Good LuckRead More Read Less

Have been taking 1000mg twice daily for three months for psoriatic arthritis and it has done wonders. Only needed prednisone for one month, thank goodness!! I have only had mild problems with hypoglycemia in the last month.

I have been taking this medication for 30 years for very mild ulcerative colitis. I have taken as many as two pills three times a day during flare ups to just two pills per day for maintenance. When taking 6 pills a day, I often experience headaches, nausea and lethargy, so it's a relief when I'm able to cut the dose down to just maintenance. I found the generic brand caused more severe nausea, Entab brand eliminates this - at least while on the maintenance dose.

I have been taking this medication since February and it has been awsome. I suffered for eight years with running to the bathroom up to 8 times a day. I started taking 4 pills twice a day. I am now down to one pill once a day. I feel great!

It seems to never end. The taking of pills that is. Four times daily, and forget about a small perscripion bottle. I've got to take suplements too just to try and stay healthy. I have flair ups once to three times a year. Not great for me.

My job is construction, working in the sun has been a problem, very sun sensitive. My colitis has been mostly under control since I've been taking this medication. 1 year approx.

I have been able to reduce the amount of prednisone by taking this drug. I also have a history of IBS and since taking this drug for RA, the IBS has subsided.
