Used this med since Feb. of 2008. This med keeps the heart rate undercontrol, ( suffered form PVC's 6 - 7 in a row). However I have noticed that the soles of my feet have been burning, swelling in them, and pain shooting through my toes and feet. My feet also feel cold all the time. I am also tired all the time. I restarted my old med. that I took before this one and thse symptions have gone away. I wouldn't recomend this med.

I have to switch to this med due to a sudden allergy to my old perscription. My blood pressure was around 145/98 most of the time and this brought it down to normal I use 1 1/2 tabets of 5mg.

i have supraventricular tachardia (a to fast heart rate). I also have asthma, but this beta blocker is cardio selective and has not caused worsening of my asthma. We have been going up in doses slowly over about 3 months and will end up taking 10mg morning and night. So far it does seem to be helping though not dramatically so. I have noticed some dizziness and gettting tired and out of breath earlier than i did before.
