I'm really surprised to hear all of these negative reviews because I've had a really great experience with Beyaz. A few years ago, I was taking regular Yaz and I really liked it. After I lost my insurance I switched to a generic that was cheaper, Lo Ovral. On Lo Ovral, I got frequent headaches and gained about ten pounds. So as soon as I got my insurance back, I switched to Beyaz (Yaz now has a ge...

I have been on this pill for 4 month now. I went on it for my acne, which for the first time in my life, has cleared up! However, the side effects are TERRIBLE! After 2 months, I'm having headaches every day and I've started feeling dizzy/lightheaded to the point where I feel I am going to pass out! Love my skin, but NOT worth the rest. Never taking this again!

I have suffered from true PMDD since a teen. I have tried multiple birth controls to help curb the symptoms without adding additional medications. Yaz and Beyaz have been life (and relationship) savers for me. The only side effect I have had is I get occasional migraines once a month - but in the long run that one symptom for that short time frame is worth not feeling like I am losing my mind 1 week a month! It curbs the anxiety and depression that come with the monthly friend. My only wish is that they had a generic option.Read More Read Less

I'm 34 and just had my second child. I wanted to enjoy life with my husband before possibly having a 3rd so I decided to go on birth control. It has been 10 years since I've been on birth control so my doctor prescribed Beyaz. Very excited when he told me it would help with my mood swings and acne..which it did but I started having severe lower back pain and hip pains which got worse over a span of 2 weeks. I stopped the pill and within 1 day, they were gone. After reading all the horror stores of this pill, I think I'd rather find another way to prevent pregnancy.Read More Read Less

I am taking this to regulate my cycle. It has made my cycles every 28 days with no break through bleeding. I have not noticed any side effects. My periods are also lighter. I plan on staying on it to be regular.

I flushed the entire pack down the toilet after only two weeks of use. After taking this for one week, I started experiencing severe depression. Having a history of depression, I decided this wasn't for me stopped taking it a week later.I experienced very heavy bleeding for a week after stopping it, then got my period two weeks later. This drug was a nightmare.

My doctor put me on this birth control called beyaz after I had my little girl, I have endometriosis so I was assured it was a good thing for me to take to help suppress the disease. I took it for three weeks, and I was constantly nauseous I had headaches and for some reason it caused me to have severe lower back pain... I immediately quit taking it and haven't been on it for over a year now. Me and my husband have been trying to conceive and we haven't been able to. I wonder if this birth control beyaz could have anything to do with this? I know endometriosis can cause infertility but my OB told me I should be ok, cause I'm in the early stages when he found my endo.. Has anyone else had a problem with this at all?? Please help.Read More Read Less

Basically caused me have two periods a month for a few months, and now that my body has adjusted properly, my libido dropped dramatically. Also I've been vomiting in the middle of the night for months and finally realized this must be the cause. Sure I'm not pregnant and sure my periods are now incredibly light, but I'm miserable and exhausted in the process. Everyone's body is different, but from my experience, this was probably the worst medication I've ever taken.

I am 21 years old and I use beyaz for contraception. I have been taking it for almost a year now (about 9 months) and I have had a decrease j. The amount of blood from my periods and for the past 4 months, I have gotten no period at all. I have taken probably 12 pregnancy tests (a couple a month) to ensure that I wasn't pregnant. They all came out negative. I like at least occasionally getting my period to know that I'm not pregnant. For the last 6 months I have been getting more and more exhausted and fatigued to the point where I can barely even get up in the morning or do the dishes or laundry. I take online classes so it's not like I'm working all day. I have never been this tired in my life and I assume that beyaz has started messing with or negatively affecting my hormones. I take other medications that I have been on for years, and I have never had this problem. I think it is all the beyaz. I hate it. I get dizzy often and sometimes get nauseous if I take the pill on an empty stomach. It works as a birth control method but I am guessing It is just too much for me. Some people do well on it, but I have never felt so crappy in my life. Read More Read Less

I started out taking Yasmine birth control, then Yaz then Beyaz. I have a migraine almost everyday and have gained weight. I also have developed rhinitis, which may or may not be caused by this birth control. It has worked for the reason I started taking it.. However I wonder if the excess hormones, headaches and sinus infections are worth it. :/

I am 33 years old. My periods are extremely painful. I experience clotting as well as extremely thick and lengthy flows. I recently started breaking out with cyst like acne around my chin area. My OB gave me samples of Beyaz, 4months worth. It worked extremely well for my acne, but that's about all. My periods are the same regarding the pain, however I have noticed some decreased in length and blood thickness. I have also experience several side effects in addition. Such as nausea, some vomiting, severe breast tenderness, spoting between periods, emotional sensitivity and severe headaches. I am almost to the end of my last sample pack and will be switching to Sprintec aka Ortho-Cyclen. Will write review once I've experience it. Read More Read Less

I have been taking this for three months. Horrible headaches, no urge to eat, and gained about 10 pounds already. Did not stop bleeding. I had no period for nine months until I started this. Worst period I have ever had. I have also noticed I feel crazy with extreme mood swings out of no where. Everything annoys me and I cannot seem to get a grip on anything.

I've been on beyaz for 2 years and I love it! My ance is gone, my periods are light, it doesnt make me crazy, and I'm not pregnant! It's very expensive bc it's not covered by my insurance. Most likely bc of dangerous side effects. But it's either pay for birth control AND ance meds or pay a lot for a great birth control! Obviously, everyone is different but it's been great for me.

Beyaz gave me Ulcerative Colitis!! Studies have now linked Beyaz with ulcerative colitis and other inflammatory bowel diseases. Be VERY cautious when taking this product.

I am a 38 year old woman. I've taken Beyaz for approximately two years and two months ago I started having the most aggressive yeast infections ever in my life! The last two times I had sex within this past two months and I would wake to the beginning symptoms of a yeast infection! I had sex with a new partner and went in to see my gyno and have a std culture done after our second encounter. I was negative for all stds and I'm HIV negative, tested as recent as this past April. My doctor prescribed for me a diflucan pill and Monistat 3. Finally I thought the infection was gone until I started my new pack of Beyaz the next day. And symptoms returned! I have taken my pills n two days and I am calling my doctor first thing in the morning for him to prescribe me something else ASAP ! Read More Read Less
