I suffer from severe allergies year round and have been prescribed all the most popular medicines. Nasacort has been the only one to really clear up my sinuses. Its an amazing drug.

I used this for nasal congestion for the first time about an hour and a half ago. It hasn't worked one bit! Now my nose is completely stopped up and I can't breathe through it at all. I followed the directions on the label very carefully. Has anyone else had this problem? I had been using an over the counter decongestant, but you're only supposed to use it for 3 days (I had used it for about 6 mon...

It's only been three days but I'm so happy with Nasacort. I've woken up nearly every morning for five years with a headache and unable to breathe from my nose. Also had lots of trouble staying asleep and getting back to sleep. I've tried saline rinsing, allergy medication, different pillows, and had sinus, neck and head x-rays/MRIs. Could never figure out what caused the headaches and sleeplessness. I don't snore or have symptoms of sleep apnea according to my family who witnesses me sleeping. I've used Nasacort for the past three nights and slept at least seven hours straight and wake without a headache. Feels like a miracle. Hope it stays this way!Read More Read Less

this medication was the worst for me. extreme dryness in my throat. Gave me a horrible taste in my mouth. Dizziness. Made me feel like I had a tumor in my head. Glad there was other reviews to read.

Always purchased nasal sprays through prescription (rhinacourt & Flonase). Tried this one to save money and pharmacist recommendation. I was happy for 2 weeks. Now my nose bleeds and feels like it is on fire. More congested now than before.. Sorry I switched to this drug. Its been 2 weeks since my last use and my nose is still very sore.

I tried EVERYTHING! no pills even came close to working for me. Post nasal drip was a big issue for me. Constant drip from the nose. I'm allergic to Alder trees big time. I bought the Nasacort over the counter and used it this afternoon. I got relief within ONE HOUR. Unbelievable. I used to rep Nasonex for Schering Plough. It never worked the way Nasacort is working and I tried Flonase too, without any relief. Next March at the start of my allergy season, I will use Nasacort to avoid the misery I've had this whole April.Read More Read Less

First time use about an hour ago. I wouldn't say i have "bad allergies" but my nose gets really stuffy at night to the point i cant breath through it without a nasal strip. I dont get runny nose much but my nose *instantly* cleared! (ok not "instantly" but in less than 10 minutes) The little bit of mucous i had cleared down the back of my throat and i have been clear ever since! yay for no more mouth breathing! Glad i finally used this sample my nurse-in-law brought home for me!

Nasacort change my life. I had congestion at night for years, which brought on anxiety and depression from lack of sleep. I had septoplasty surgery and have tried every spray and pill available but nothing worked for me so when I read that nasacort was available without a rx I tried it. After 2 days I starting improving and after 1 week my nose is clear and I sleep all night. This stuff is great.

Horrible side effects include anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, nasal congestion, sinus headache, brain fog. I suspected these might be linked to this drug because they started when I began taking the drug. Another web site had patients listing these same side effects. BEWARE!

This little spray has changed my life! I sleep better, I don't wake up with a runny nose and sneezing, and I don't sound like I have a cold all day. My wife can't believe how little I snore now. I've tried everything before this, nothing at all worked until now!

I have used this for 2 days and felt relief on same day except I started with 2 sprays instead of 1 due to I have chronic allergies. I normally use Nasonex but it is only available with a prescription. I am allergic to everything - grass, pollen, trees, etc.. and I love it! I have no side effects but did notice a change in my appetite in that I haven't been hungry that much. Not sure if it is from the spray but I can think that it does. :)

I have used Nasacort off and on for years, first as prescription and recently as OTC. It is the only medication that truly relieves my unbearable hay fever. Not even allergy shots with antihistamines worked as well. But for me, it has a very serious side effect of suppressing my entire immune system. - I come down with more viruses (colds). Sores such as from biting my tongue and dermal cuts take a long time to heal. I also will get candida infections (thrush) if I stay on this medication too long. I find I can cut back the dosage to a spray once every few days to once per week once the worst of my hay fever subsides. I like Loratadine (Claritin) as a constant med. Initially, Nasacort works within 24-48 hours and is a god-send.Read More Read Less

I had used Nasalcrom for seasonal allergies for about 10 years. This year I couldn't find it, so I gave the Nasacort a try. It worked like magic. Within an hour, I had relief. I tapered off like I had with the Nasalcrom and was back to normal in about three weeks. I do not think you are supposed to use this every day for months on end. I highly recommend this medicine for short term allergy attacks.

After suffering most of the spring and all summer with seasonal allergies, stuffy nose and ears, upper respiratory issues, a doctor suggested Nasacort. The only issue I had with it was trying to find it in stock! I've used it for two days now and my sinuses are starting to open up and drain, ears are clearing and I'm starting to feel like me again!

I had used prescription Nasacort for years and it worked wonderfully. Once it went over the counter, I noticed that my nose feels dry and itchy all the time. I have more post nasal drip. I noticed my eye was twitching a lot, but did not equate it to the medicine change until I just read others' reviews. I'm curious what the difference is between the former prescription strength and the new over the counter medicine.

I used Nasacort for approximately 3 months and thought it was the best thing I'd ever seen for my congestion and other allergy symptoms. But, for some reason, after approximately 3 months of working great, it just decided to stop working. I don't understand it. Because I was getting near the bottom of one applicator, I opened another one. Unfortunately, the medication in a new applicator was no better. I'm going to have to go back to Allegra D, which is what I was taking before Nasacort. I was very happy about this product, because it cost me $17 for one month's relief and it actually worked better than Allegra D, which cost me $30 for one month. I'm going to attempt to give Nasacort another shot after being off of it for a month or so, to see if I've somehow developed a tolerance to it. Man, I wish it was still working. Not only am I going back to a medication that doesn't work as well, it costs me an extra hunk of money, not to mention the requirement of the amount of the "D" being regulated each month. I feel like a drug dealer, when I purchase medication for my allergies. It was very much a welcome relief with Nasacort, relief my allergy symptoms and relief from signing my life away to some government agency each month.Read More Read Less

BEWARE, this drug caused one of the worst side effects ive ever experienced. Coughing bile burning throat and chest, nearly went to emergency room reaction was so bad, cough caused by this accompanied with the most awful taste youll ever experience, tasted like burnt human flesh. Had 2 reactions over 3 week period thought first was fluke. After second tossed in garbage i would rather be unable to breath than experience that again. Be safe.
