Also switched over after insurance wouldn't cover suboxone. Taste is better for sure. The 5.7 mg is equal to 8mg suboxone. Although it's working fine, I also feel it is shorter acting than suboxone. FYI though for the people that do not like it or get sick, my Dr informed me that your insurance is required to cover the suboxone if once you've tried the new drug and it doesn't work for you. You are...

I was initially on Suboxone and then switched to zubsolv because my insurance wouldn't cover the Suboxone. Ever since I had been on zubsolv I had a lot of side effects including severe muscle and joint pain especially in my hands and worse in my legs and knees and back. I could barely get out of bed in the morning and was so sore and stiff that I felt like I was 90 years old. I had trouble sleepin...

I just recently (last week) was prescribed Zubsolv 5.7/1.4mg due to my insurance stopping coverage of suboxone. I have been on Suboxone 8mg/2mg films (started with tabs) for the past 4 years. My first dose of Zubsolv was 2 days ago. A few hours afterwards I began to feel sick. I felt very confused , tired and headache. I felt as if I was in withdraw with a combo of being overmedicated. I had to switch back to Suboxone for now as I have a wedding coming up and refuse to feel sick. I dont know if it's just me or what but I don't understand why I felt that way after taking Zubsolv. I tried it twice more thinking maybe it was a coincidence but the same thing happened again. Not sure what I'm going to do come July 1st when my insurance stops paying for Suboxone. Anyone else have this experience with Zubsolv???Read More Read Less

ZUBSOLV (the white pill generic) is not equivalent to the name brand Suboxone films or tablets whatsoever... truly horrible, I am appalled and wondering how the FDA ever approved this nonsense!!?? Hundreds of thousands of sober patients who got their lives together with the help of Suboxone are now suffering --and patients' successful treatment is now being jeopardized because of this generic inefficiency...firsthand... from a successful patient who has had to switch...

TASTE IS MUCH MORE TOLERABLE THAN ALL OTHER BUPRENORPHINE TABLETS. PRODUCT IS HARD TO OPEN OUT OF THE FOIL AND SOMETIMES BREAKS BEFORE INGESTION. IT WORKS BETTER THAN SUBOXONE FOR BREAKTHRU RELIEF BUT DOES NOT SEEM TO LAST AS LONG. I WENT FROM 12MG SUBOXONE TO TWO 5.6MG TABLETS AND SOMETIMES I WAKE UP AT NIGHT WITH WITHDRAWL. IT IS BETTER THAN SUBOXONE BUT SHORTER LASTING.

I recently switched to Zubsolve from Suboxone films and so far the change has been a positive one, both in its effectiveness and cost. There is a coupon available and can be used twice a month, so if short on funds you have the option to fill only a portion of your script and still be able to use the coupon a 2nd time when you're ready to fill the remainder. The only downside to the pill is that it isn't easy to break in halves or fourths, as it's not perforated and is quite small.
