Taken drug for sinus infection, works for a couple days, then symptoms came right back, need to call Dr to see what can be done I feel like it is starting up again. Headaches, scratch throat, gunk in throat, double vision

This is the drug of choice whenever I have a sinus infection with bronchitis.

I have server COPD and was having a real problem breathing because of a sinus infection. I could not walk more than 50 feet without stopping to catch my breath. I waited 2 weeks to go to my Doctor. The first thing he said was you waited to long to come in. He when put me on the Z Pack and the very next day I was breathing much better. I finished the Z Pack and now am back to my old self again. My Doctor has put me on Zithromax 250MG once daily to help prevent this from this happening again.

Have not used for cellulitis

worked great for me. Double ear infection. I was also having problems with on and off pain in both legs for approx 9 months (was negative for PAD, diabetes, etc) It has went away..I'm trying to find out if this z-pack also took care of that problem. Would be so happy if it did! Any dr ever encountered this with a patient and prescribed this med for that symptom?

I have experienced a buzz in my body, like an anxiety attack

I am on my 3rd day of taking the meds. Usually I feel better after taking the first dose of antibiotics. I have felt no relief, as if I didn't take any medication at all. I don't see what all the hype is about with the zpak.

Loss of taste, dizziness.

I had a ear infection and upper respiratory cough. I took 2 days of this medication and ended up in ER. on day one and begin feeling weak and developed neck jaw and shoulder pain along with nausea. about 4 the next morning I started vomiting I thought it was a lot of infection coming out so I didn't tell my family about it then. the next day I was so weak I sat on the sofa most of the day I couldn't get up to go to the restroom. I think this is because I took a pill that morning and vomiting began again. my family tried to check my blood pressure and could not get a reading in the attempt to keep them calm I stated the bp cup was not working. my family drove me to ER where they nurse also could not get a bp. I was put on a heart monitor, in er admitted to the hospital for 5 days 3 in the cardiac unit. upon discharge they say my copd flared up. this was not copd I have never felt anything remotely close to this in my entire life. IT WAS AS THOU I WAS REALLY DIEING AND UNABLE TO EVEN TELL ANYONE WHAT I WAS GOING THRU. at my follow up appointment my doctor for the first time in our long history stated I am very concerned about your kidneys and liver. the dr went on to say I show kidney insufficiency what in the hell is that warn your loved ones PLEASE IT ONLY TAKES ONE TIME AND YOU COULD DIE Read More Read Less

NEVER WORKS for ANYONE I know.

symptoms started going away within 24 hours. But one time I had to take a second dose of 3 days

I have not felt well since I started this medication. It cleared the bronchitis but I have hip muscle pain, loss of appetite, increased heart rate and BP at times, fatigue and a feeling of malaise. I would not take this drug again under any circumstances. Also the time it may take due to its long half life is scary.

I had a fever for six days. It went away within a day of taking this medication. I did have nausea from it but no vomiting.

I admit the medicine worked but by the 4th day...the skin on my hand was blistering and burning. I thought it was just dry skin but decided to go online to review the side effects of the zpack and surely blistering was one of them. Unfortunately, I had taken all of the medicine. The blistering and burning was getting worse. I decided to call the pharmacist to ask what I could take to combat the reaction - he suggested Benadryl and I have been on it since. I am allergic to amoxicillin and sulfa drugs. Zpac is a lifesaver for me and it works so quickly. I always feel better after the first day of taking it. I have had no side effects.

I had swollen tongue blocking my air ways my tongue severe pain and it burns with whits patches. blisters just terrible

This is my 2nd time taking the z-pack, although I only took it two days last time..(Read the side effects, and freaked myself out, not smart!)I'm taking again for broncitis, probably never got cured from stopping meds last time. I'm on the 5 day pack. Today is my fourth day so one pill left. I have not read the side effects, and am just taking as perscribed. I've had no problems this time around, nothing nothing unless it causes dry mouth, have that, and palpitations..not too often, but enough to know its the med....i have to cure this bron, so whatever it takes!! It gave me fluctuating Bp and pulse . Dr should tell side effects before giving out.
