This drug has been effective, but left my knees feeling full, if that makes sense. I still can't kneel on them yet. I guess the pain is less, but now I'm getting other pain under my knee caps. So the jury is still out for me. I'd take anything - just trying to prolong replacements.

I HAVE ONE MORE SHOT TO COMPLETE THE 5 THAT WERE SUGG BY MY SURGEON. UNDERGOING DEPRESSION. I AM 40YRS OLD AND FEEL 70. I CANT WALK. EVEN SLEPPING AT NIGHT IS HORRIBLE. I HAVE CONSTANT PAIN, SADLY MORE THEN BEFORE I STARTED THE "TREATMENT". I WOULD NEVER RECOMM IT TO ANYONE. I AM USING A WALKER TO HELP SUPPORT MY STEPS, TOTAL MESS. THE INJECTIONS ARE VERY PAINFUL.I WISH I HAD NEVER HAD THEM DONE.

I am missing a significant piece of cartiledge from my knee cap. It is very painful to go up/down stairs. Im a 34 yoa Firefighter, and surgery would put me out for 4 mos. Injections did not hurt at all, and I'm a big sissy for pain. So far so good, 1st of 3 injections...a little pain is still there, but I'm optimistic that with two more still to get, I will be back to normal for 9-12 mos. Nothing to fear, but my Doctor knows what he is doing. Hope this info helps you

had a work injury... 2tears and a fracure...two rounds of surgery... a year apart...relafen...celebrex...mobic...nothing really helping the pain level...the Dr. sugested the Supartz...the 1st 3 shots made things worse...4th shot started kicking in some...5th helped...but 2 wks out the pain had returned...on a scale of 6 to 10 vs. 10 to 15 before the injections...good but I want even more relief! I want no pain...no need to take rx's for pain...enough is enough...I am losing weight(21lbs. so far)I am hoping that losing extra weight along with injections will give more relief. I can only hope.Read More Read Less

I had 5 shots, 4 of them hurt very bad, it was the person giving it. I have had great results. No pain at all now and can resume full activities after being on a cane for the intense pain. I actually just had the left knee done and had the right knee done 3 yrs ago and still pain free. This is a great treatment that will buy me time before a knee replacement, as I am only 53.

I had 5 injections in both knees and just recently returned to the doctors after a year and a half to start the procedure again. It had worked for me and I am very thankful!I don't plan on a knee replacement for a long time. I'm 52 years old.

I was using synvic, but my doctor changed, because it was to expensive to get, should I see another doctor. The synvice was working fine, not I am getting the supartz injections, so far my knee still has a little more pain & discomfort.

Four injections by an Orthopedic surgeon have enabled near normal function, pain free, for more than one year. I was encouraged to read on this Website that injections can be given every six months! Only lately I have had occasional indication that I may need another treatment.

Used to treat advanced OA both knees, pain, stiffness. Shots are painful, but felt pain relief 10 to 15 minutes after 1st shot before leaving dr office. Shots are a very thick and jelly like substance. Med feels tingly/warm when injected. When standing after shots knees feel squishy between bones, not unstable though but seems to give protection from bone on bone sensation. Knees do feel very full after shots, but this discomort is a willing trade off for constant pain.
