I have tried many over the counter meds before...they don't work for me. This medicine works fast and very effective.

I have severe acute brochitis. It is extreamly effective after about 20 minutes of taking the dose. The taste was better than most cough syrups, a bit thick. I am satisfied that I am No Longer Coughing nor do I have the little itch in my throat. HOWEVER, I AM WIDE AWAKE AT MIDNIGHT and I HAVE TO WAKE AT 4:30 To GO TO WORK! Haha!

great cough syrup, tastes good and i was able to get a good night sleep.

It stopped the cough, however I couldn't sleep at all!

I have been on Chemo for many months, I developed a horrible cough shortly after starting Chemo went on for over three months and could not get rid of it. Finally, I was coughing so much I could not control my bladder. I called doctor and he prescribe medication after 3 doses cough subsided, but after each Chemo cycle I have same side effect and have to take the medication. It works for me like a charm, side effects and all.

I have taken this cough syrup years ago and found it to work for Dry cough in 3 days. I am again suffering with dry non-stop coughing and inflammation. After 15 to 20min of taking a teaspoon it works until exactly 6 hours have passed. It is the only cough syrup that works for me when I have this type of cough. I have never become addicted to it or taken more than recommended dosage - a 4 oz. bottle keeps for a year or more and I have had it in my medicine cabinet when needed ONLY and after calling Dr. first and described my condition, and will take only once or twice before I am seen by Doctor. After 2 doses it caused my heart to race to the point I thought I needed to go back to the ER..I am waiting now for it to wear off,hopefully..

Only 1 dose so far and cough is gone but I'm hyper as heck. Cannot wind down. It's already 2 hrs past my bedtime. I've got restless leg syndrome also and did not take my Requip since not sure of interactions but think I'll take it now since I've researched and can't find any interactions. Hope I can sleep tonight!

Best cough suppressant I've ever used.

Pretty much numbs out the cough but can only take it if I'll be resting. Too potent for work.

a very powerful drug. my cough went away immediately after 2 dosages BUT got all the side effects. nausea went away before the 3rd dosage. you may want to start with small dosages initially prior to following the doctor's recommended dosage.

had a cough for 3 weeks from acute bronchitis and this was the only medication that stopped the cough, and within 15 minutes. had persistent vague nausea, sleepiness, and a slight buzz during the course of treatment but it was worth it being able to sleep and stop coughing. i took with food, and no more than every 10-12 hours.

It helped my cough go away, but I can not sleep on this product. It makes my mind go 100mph and its very difficult to relax.

Stopped coughing almost immediately but also had a terrible side effect on me. It made me nauseated and vomit after about two hours of taking it.

I feel this medications works pretty well, whenever I have gotton a bad cough and went to the docter to get medicine it seems they gave me similar cough syrup and it worked for me then the next thing I know they have taken it off the market! hope this doesnt happen to this one cause it seems to work for me.

I was given this for cough. I am able to get much needed rest and the cough is GONE! I do feel a bit groggy, but with codeine I'm sure this is normal.

I have a serious post nasal drip that can only be cured with surgery, but that route is not for me. I have used this medacine for over 10 years and I am neither addicted nor dependent .  I take 5cc in the morning and 10cc at night.  I drink plenty of water and use a saline nasal irrigation if needed during the day, I do not drive for fours after taking this drug.

This stuff is great! I am allergic to codiene, so I only take 1 teaspoon before going to bed. I also eat something 1st to avoid stomach issues. I have sinus issues. When feeling better, 1/2 tsp , 1/4 tsp then stop taking. Addicting..be careful!
