Luckily this med DOES work for me very well. I am only 58 years old and had to take retirement about 5 years ago due to chronic pain and other diseases that hit all at the same time. I have osteoarthritis in my lower spine now and it's progressing due to my severe osteoporosis (causing many broken bones), collagenous colitis, thyroid disease, and chronic cervical pain from a car accident many yea...

Works. Highly addictive for those who are predisposed to such things. People will steal it from you. Keep it secret. Keep it safe.

After I delivered my son via c-section I was given this for pain. A very high priority for me was to nurse him. Because percocet has a short half life, I was able to take it to relieve my pain, but time it well enough so that my son wouldn't get any of it when I nursed him. It was wonderful.

Oxycodone did take care of the pain I had after surgery. It's one of the only pain medications I can take without alergic reactions. However,,,,, the drug has it's draw backs. When done with the oxy, sleep is hard to find....Becareful........it can and will sneak up and OWN you if you allow it to. I was careful and only stayed on it for a short time. I learned to deal with some pain.... it's amazing what you can do when you 'choose' it.

I found that if taken as it is prescribed it makes the pain I have from fybromyalgia a little more tolerable so I can get on with my daily life instead of dealing with the constant pain.

o well what can i say this drug is good for you to use along with a break-threw med like norco 10/325 i have been on this course for awhile now and it is ok the only draw back is you do have to watch the clock or better still listen to your body if you start to hurt take a break-threw dose i found that works the best for me hope this helps you all out peace out

I have tried other pain medicines but found out that oxycodone for me is the best since 2004 that I have found to relieve the pain and still be able to do things like walking up and down stairs. hiking, fishing, hunting, driving etc.

Oxycodone is a potent but inefficient pain reliever considering its very quick "half-life" and body tolerance to the drug. This means it metabolizes faster than other meds, causing you to take more than prescribed. Then after a while they don't work at all. Then you run out...but your pain does not.

I have been taking percocet for the last two years. It's only effective when I eat four and rail two. This makes it very hard to use. I do this four or five times a day. My doctor has to prescrive me 550 a month. I was on oxycontine 80 ml. These allong with all other pain killers make me sich. Percocet is the only one that works for me. I have very extreme migrains. I typically have to be placed in a enduced coma once a month or so because they are so bad.

I was prescribet Percocet. It was effective for such a short period of time that my doctor had eventually switched me to Dilauded and Morphine. Both of them made me sick so i discontinued taking them on my own. Percocet had a good short term pain relief that was more fitting to my needs.

took this drug after neck surgery, was ok the first few nights, but I do not like the way it wares off so soon and I have to take more. I like the brand name Percocet it seems to last longer without the usuall side-effects. but overall is a good drug

For recurring kidney stones, I use this for severe to moderate pain. Have to take anti-nausea medicine about 10 mins before so stomach doesn't suffer, but overall, most effective oral pain killer out there for me.
