I have a non functioning gallbladder. The normal percentage a gallbladder should be at between 1-100% is 35 which is considered normal. Mine is at 1. I was prescribed this medicine a year and a half ago with my first GB attack and it seemed to take care of the spasms in my stomach but it no longer seems to affect me in that way. I am sure it is a good medicine for certain things just not for what ...

Works great. Used for stomach problems - cramping, nausea, weight loss. Using with Compazine for nausea. Seems like these two drugs are the only things that actually work for me. Make stomach feel good again. Prior to this, - was smoking pot just to get stomach relief. It worked good also, but too expensive. My stomach problems mostly began after gall bladder removal, - been sick to my stomach ever since. Tried alot of medications that provided no relief at all, am glad doctor finally got a couple that actually work. Belladonna and Compazine very effective for cramping, nausea, vomiting, sick - green stomach feeling. Belladonna take 2 tablets 3-4 times a day as needed, Compazine - take 1 tablet every 6-8 hrs for nausea as needed. Almost as effective as pot for stomach relief, alot cheaper though. Work in Medical facility, had all kinds of test, - can find nothing wrong ...Read More Read Less

I have severe constipation due to very little peristaltic activity in the large intestine. Sometimes, due to overmedication of laxatives my abdomen is very upset, tender/sensitive. At such times I use Belladonna Alkaloid (prescription) which helps tremendously. BP

I have IBS and the med helps with abdominal pain and cramping. BM's are still loose and soft. I had weight loss issues due to eating less from IBS symptoms. I'm at least holding steady on this med. I'm on the short acting version which means I have to take 1 or 2 tablets up to 4 times a day, which is not easy to do.
