I'm having kidney stones treastment that just began after taking this drug. is there a history of this ailment.

the side effects are not that great, my cough comes back when i do not take it. plus I am pregnant and it gives me diarreah, bad taste in the mouth and stomach pain! i cannot continue to take this medication even though the underline illness is getting better

After taking the fourth pill I developed severe diarrhea along with severe stomach cramps that I am still trying to recover from.

using it for sinusitis. problem is, when I finish it, the sinusitis comes back. I take all of the med. it is very effective, max. sinus infections. now trying 20 days. how is that going to be for me. ? i have primary Immune deficiency. sak66

This Drug very bad. Causes large tough and chest pains.

After 2 days it has helped however I CAN'T SLEEP. I don't see any other reviews about not being able to sleep a side affect. It must just be me.

This medication prescribed for Chronic Sinusitis. The bitter taste did not bother me when I swallowed it with almond milk. Took two tablets/day over 14 days. Had no trouble with nausea, or diarrhea. I did make sure I had some greek yogurt each day. It really helped clear up the sinuses and ears.

I took this antibiotic for a sinus infection. After 2 days, I had horrible diarrhea. By day 5, I called my doctor and now will be starting amoxicillin. 5 days of 10 of this drug and saw no improvement of my sinuses and couldn't stay out of the bathroom. Horrible drug.

Took a first dose and had stomach cramps and Nausea. Stopped taking it.

I've been suffering from a sinus infection with sore throat and terrible layringitis. Started taking this medicine on a Sunday. By Tuesday, I'm feeling so much better, and my voice has returned, not totally back to normal but a great improvement. I would definately take this medicine again and recommend it.

Been taking 500 mg twice a day for a week. My throat healed and the feeling of broken glass that accompanies Strep Throat while swallowing went away after 3 or 4 days. My tongue became swollen and raw during my first few doses and I thought it was a symptom of Strep, as I have never had that before now. After a few more days, my tongue was worse and I couldn't eat anymore without pain. I stopped the Cefuroxime and my tongue is getting better. Wish I had known from my Dr. that it was a penicillan drug and that they commonly produce allergic reactions. Urgent care facilities at their finest.Read More Read Less

The pharmacist did not warn me that possible side effects would include watery diarrhea, slight fever and abdominal cramps. I stopped taking axetil five days after I began, and had diarrhea for nearly a month, followed by a urinary tract infection. And original symptoms are still there.

It has not help. It has only made things worst upset stomach, stay in the bathroom most of today. And the worst heartburn ever! today I call the dr and they change it finally.I still feel real bad

Severe diarrhea after 2nd day of use

I have a severe case of strep throat and sinus infection. I have been on it for 4 days. I do not feel any better than I did before I started taking it. Back to the Dr for something else tomorrow.

Upset stomach

Having pneumonia for 2 months and the 2 antibiotics previously prescribed did not totally get lungs healed. While still enduring lung problem the bronchitis developed with body ache, skin tender, eyes pressure & burning, ear ache, fever, weakness, etc. After 2 doses I saw a big turn towards healing. I take 500mg 2X a day for 2 weeks. I always take it with food, but an hour or so before taking it in the morning I take a probiotic capsule to rebuild my good intestinal flora, I also eat yogurt during the day. Both of these habits have keep me from stomach pain and/or having diahrea. I am feeling so much better and praying that it will also kill off the pneumonia bacteria. People should always take a probiotic and yogurt when on any antibiotic.Read More Read Less

I was given a 14 days RX for twice daily. It really helped my sinus infection, earache and sore throat, but after 5 days, the left side of my face broke out in a terrible rash. I thought it was my illness since everything hurt on the left side of my face only. However, I stopped taking it on the 8th day and my rash disappeared so I guess I am allergic to this medication.
