Have used this medication for approximately 10 years for lichen sclerosus of the vaginal area. Used to be 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. Now 3 or 4 applications a week, using Mon, Wed, & Fri,using cotton underwear, being very careful to avoid tight clothing in that area and wearing nightgowns to provide air to the area.

I have pustular psoriasis. This topical helps keep the breakouts to a minimum, but does not completly make it go away. It helps, but not a complete treatment.

This was the only medication that worked to clear up terrible psoriasis on the soles of my feet. Before med I couldn't walk from the pain and itching. After med I was almost totally clear. Unfortunately, after using it regularly for about 3 months (against my dermatologist's advice) I have developed an allergy to it. I noticed that if I used it before bedtime, I would wake up in the middle of the night scratching my torso and legs. In the morning there would be a rash in those areas, and bruises from scratching so hard. So I have stopped using Clobetasol, and the psoriasis on the soles of my feet has returned, but not as badly as before.Read More Read Less

I want to know if the cortesone in this medication will contribute to the formation of cataracts. I have heard that cortesone can cause cataracts.

I had a major outbreak of hives on various parts of my body. This provided fast relief from the itching and swelling.

Prescribed for hair loss due to discoid lupus. I am also having injections into the scalp. I have not seen any improvement, although doc says there are signs of regrowth. Hair loss is spreading.

Works well when used as directed however, when used as directed, my skin seems to thin and bleeds very easily. I experience extreme itching with use (due to healing action?). All my clothes are ruined with "greasy" spots as I have psoriasis all over. Also, a "one month supply" never lasts a month even though I try to apply just a thin film.

Had severe psoriasis on both feet, especially the inner side. Have used this medication for over a month which did relieve most of the patchy scaling and prevented rescaling. Not sure what will happen once I stop. I am using this medication with DuDu soap and 100% shea butter - daily regime.

Liquid Clobetasol Propionate Topical Solution 50ml. I'm using it on my temples both left and right side. Large patches on both sides as well as above the ears were terribly itchy, flaky, and scaly. Tried H&S and Nizoral shampoos - not effective. Doc prescribed this and Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. Received immediate relief of the itch but still flaking and scaling somewhat - not as bad without it. This is only the first day of use - two times/day. Haven't tried the PM Shampoo yet. The rest of my scalp is flaky as well but not as bad as the temples. Also the doc noted there was some swelling too. He preliminarily diagnosed it as seborric dermatitis I think.Read More Read Less

My Dr had prescribed everything under the sun, with no real satisfying results. Then we tried Clobetasol (brand name Temovate) Topical Ointment, improvement within 24 hours visible symptoms gone in 7 - 10 days Finally something that worked. Use as prescribed symptoms disappear quickly and remain gone for weeks and even months at the slight onset just reapply stops it in its tracks. I have tried the cream as well it works but seems to take a little longer compared to the ointment

I use it for lichens sclerosis. Since it is a chronic condition, I have to use the cream every few months, but it always helps.
