I was feeling very sick whenever I got up to move laying down was all I could do. In the car I was so sick. This medication has helped alot.

My Dr. gave me this for a virus I have in my ears that cause my equalibrium to be off...causing me to be dizzy and nauseous. I took it today (Thursday) for the first time. It's made me even worse. Maybe it's just my ear acting up again because it's hurting, but I haven't felt this dizzy yet.

I have Meniere's Disease. I take Antivert for my loss of balance. I feel it is smomewhat effective. The downside of the drug is how sleepy it makes me, which is a real problem at work.

Antivert 25 oral has helped me tremendously with the vertigo and the nausea/vomiting symptoms. The actual first dose seemed to take a while to 'kick' in, but I think I have found that if I go ahead and take it regularly (mine dosage is 1 tablet every 8 hrs. It's been great to relieve the symptoms.

I take a tablet an hour before I fly and it completely prevents motion sickness and has worked every time I have taken the pill. I have been using it for the last 8 yrs. Great pill.

would this drug have any effect on the urethea tube or the bladder in any way

I had a vertigo attack in Sept 2007 and was given 12mg of Antivert, which took some time to work. A few weeks ago I had another attack and was given 25mg pills which stopped the nausea, vomiting and most of the spinning sensation within 6 hours. I thought that was very effective.

I've been prescribed htis many times over the years. Most recently-yesterday. Even though I told the doctor it had not worked in the past. I filled the script anyway---guess what--still doesn't work!

Has really done absolutley nothing for the vertigo but has helped me sleep. I will go back to my doctor and get something that actually works.
