I was suffering acutely from a UTI. I waited until I thought I couldn't take it any more to seek treatment. My blood pressure was high due to the pain. Within a half hour of taking the medication I felt so much more relaxed. My blood pressure lowered. Within a day, the urgency to urinate constantly subsided. It turns urine a bluish green color which was actually comforting to me as I felt li...

This medication is horrible. Four days after I was taking the medication, I started with rectal bleeding. In March I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. I believe that this medicine caused this problem because I was fine before that.

Urelle has helped me. The mfg. has changed the outer coating of this tablet only to make it stronger and not crack. I sent back two bottles that had purple coatings and was told it was being changed to the blue.

This medication works very well for my painful bladder and urethra. The last time I filled my perscription it was purple but my insurance says there is a generic. I'm in the process of trying to get it to save money. If anyone has taken the generic I;d like to know.

No Insurance covers this, no other form of the drug yet company reams you on price! I have IC and and severe bladder pain and I need it after sex to try and prevent bladder infections. I get the WORST nausea with this medication but it's worth not getting sick. So I thought I would take it minimally. When I ran out of what the doc gave me for free. I was disgusting to see the company reams you on the price. No insurance covers it. So I am no longer taking it. I think it's disgusting to have to pay hundreds of dollars for a bottle of meds that stains the toilets so terribly and has so many side effects. If they would just lower the price I could afford to keep a bottle on the side and take it when needed. Thanks a lot Azur pharma, money grubbers! When people are in pain they get desperate and Azur likes to take advantage of that.Read More Read Less

I have had life long problems with urinary pain (chronic sever infections & stricture abstruction), this is by far the best medication out there. It is much better than Pyridium. If your doctor prescribe's Pyridium request Urelle, it is a much more effective, quicker acting and has less side affects. You have to suggest it because alot of doctor's are not too familiar with it.

I have IC and had a cystoscopy recently. The Pyridium did not ease the pain as much as I would have liked and the doc gave me an Rx for Urelle. It made a huge difference and I hope that he will be continuing the treatment with it.

This is the best medicine i have ever taken to help with painful urination which comes along with my bladder disease interstial cystitis. My life would be much more uncomfortable with out this drug. I used to take Pyridium for the same thing and it helped but not a 1/4 of what Urelle does.

I was prescribed Urelle to help with bladder pain/spasms, burning with urination from IC with Hunner's ulcers. Was also prescribed hyoscyamine and ultram. When switched to that protocol was up every six hours at night to go to the bathroom and in so much pain I didn't sleep for three days until I begged to switch back to what had been working better. Urelle causes severe nausea for me as well as being ineffective.

When I get bladder spasms occasionally, I take only 1 Urelle tablet and it goes away. After gall bladder surgery, I get intestinal spasms occasionally. Urelle is like a miracle drug. I take only 1 pill and the spasms and heartburn stop. My gastroenterologist told me he has heard other patients who get the same relief and has been prescribing it for GI spasms. I cannot live without this drug. Who cares about the blue color as long as the drug works.

Prescribed to me for the development of IC as a result of endometriosis. It's been extremely effective and has never caused the nausea and vomiting that I experienced with prescription doses of pyridium. With respects to worrying about the blue staining, in my opinion, it's well worth the small risk in order to be pain-free. The medication is also very effective with pain associated to spasms during menstruation, particularly as drugs don't only work for specific areas of the body. The single thing that could be a problem with Urelle is cost - even covered by insurance, it can get quite expensive.Read More Read Less

For some reason one year after prostatectomy, I started with some very painful urination and constant use of the bathroom. I eventually ended up pretty dehydrated. After a cyctoscope by my doctor to make sure nothing was wrong, he gave me Urelle on the directions of once a day. In 30 minutes it took the pain away and allowed me to significantlly re-hydrate. I have been taking it for three days now and once a day and it is working great. Perhaps I am a bit tired but I was before I started taking the drug. Pryidium was not effective.Read More Read Less

I was prescribed this medicine after a kidney stone was discovered and a stent was put into my kidney/bladder to keep the kidney stone in place and the kidney draining properly until I can have surgery to remove it. It relieves the pain while urinating and also the sudden urge to urinate.
