The medical personal gave it to me before I had a colonoscopy. I remember none of it. I was out like a light after the injection. No after-effects.

this drug is TERRIBLE. it caused nausea, vomiting and loss of equilibrium for three days after it was administered. it is also known as the 'date rape' drug. Stay away from this stuff.....far away if you're smart!!!!!!

I was given this, without consent, during my colonoscopy. This was the ONLY drug they used. No pain killers or anything. If people say that this drug worked for them it is only because they were given that in addition to pain medications through an IV. This drug only has a calming effect as well as an amnesic effect, it is not a pain killer. If you are only given this drug you will be in massive pain. Believe me I was. I have steroid injections in my spinal cord every three months. This medicine has made me able to go through with this painful procedure. Great results,I was tired most of the day but felt fine altogether.

Endoscopy / Colonoscopy - I remember enough to know it was not a pleasant experience. This drug does not work for everyone and if it doesn't, the experience can be horrendous.

Used for a colonoscopy Very effective,no pain or discomfort. After effects were gone after a few hours. Wish i could take this drug for my next plane ride !

I too was given this for my colonoscopy on Dec. 6, '07. It worked well, but for 48 hours I was lightheaded, restless, cold and clammy, nauseous, muscle aches and pains. 4 days after the procedure, I'm still foggy and out of it.
