I have been receiving cubicin now for 3 weeks. I am scheduled for 3 more. I am experiencing insomnia and extreme fatigue. I am tired and weak. Also I am unable to regulate body temperature. Hot then chills, combined with cold sweats.

extreme lack of energy, plus nausia most of the time, not too difficult to administer, but didn't like having to change the needle/dressing every week, or having labs drawn.

Only on day 16 of treatment with this. Have 28 more to go. So far so good. Bone infection in my thumb. Was allergic to rocephin and vancomycin. The only adverse reaction so far is diarrhea. X-ray after 2nd week of surgery showed no signs of bone infection.

During 1st two weeks, I had problems with nausea and fatigue. Since then I have had no side effects and I am feeling a lot better. I will be taking Cubicin for a long time due to having MRSA in a septic joint in my knee.

As an alternative to remaining in the hospital, this is a definite plus. The whole process takes about 30-40 minutes each day. It has left me very weak even though I feel well otherwise. I am starting my second week and the symptoms are almost gone.

seemes to be a good medicine, less side effects than vancomyicin, I am tired and weak, and sort of sick, as long as I keep my side effects meds coming, I can deal, just started with the losing sleep, up all night last night sick off and on, I am very tired, I have 2 more weeks of this,

The side effects were more than I could handle: extreme muscle pain/weakness, severe fluid retention, and elevated hypertension.
