Stanley A. Cohen, MD

Stanley A. Cohen, MD, a pediatrician and pediatric gastroenterologist, is director of the Combined Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, which uses the resources of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, the Children’s Center for Digestive Health Care, and Emory University to meet the needs of children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.  

Cohen is adjunct clinical professor of pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He is the author of Healthy Babies, Happy Kids: a Common Sense Guide to Nutrition for Growing Years, as well as the editor of two textbooks for physicians.

Cohen is also the founding chairman of the Committee on Nutrition for the Georgia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He is chairman of the Physicians Advisory Board of the Georgia Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC).  He is a member of the staff at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, and recently founded the Children’s Digestive Research Fund.
