This plant is not marshmallow! Please do not mistake! It is called Malva sylvestryis what is good for coughs, bronchitis, asthma, emphysema, and gastritis, and many more health problems. Marshmallow is a different herb that is also good for some upper respiratory problems, and very good for urinary tract infections, and cystitis. Had I think a reaction to marshmallow root herb Could nto stay up. Possible had low blood sugarandlow bloodpressure. Had to go off it and bp came back up after 2 days and I resumed bp meds. But am not having cortisol problems. And prescribed prednisone 5mg for 14 days to raise it. marshmallow root herb did stop my bladder pain completely but I cna nottake it it seems.
