I have been diagnosed diabetic for 4 years. I was using prescribtion drugs without much success then I heard about this vegetable. After the first use my blood sugar drop from
about 12 to 8. The only side effect I might have developed was a mild belly ache.

I do not consume refined sugar and also stay away from natural sugars as much as possible. My diet is now a life style change that has lasted about 6 years. I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes in 2005. I'm on Byetta 10mg, Metformin 500mg, Glimepiride 4mg. There have been a few times that my blood sugar was over 200 and I made some bitter melon tea. One hour later my blood sugar was down by 40 points. It seems to be working for me, to lower my blood sugar.
