Tried an herb to lower jake's blood sugar yesterday. It worked. Almost too well. On days when i give him prednisolone, I have to give him an extra insulin shot between his morning and evening shot or his blood sugar will rise into the high 300s. So i thought i'd try giving him gymnema sylvestre instead of the in-between shot. Well, it works. Two 1/2 hours after his morning meal and insulin ... Show Full Comment

I have moderate Diabetes - high numbers in the morning - but now that I take one capsule of gymnema sylvestri at night, my numbers stay below 115 in mornings WITH ABSOLUTEY NO SIDE EFFECTS!! Other medications had awful and dire side effects that were just as bad as my diabetes. I recommend it highly!
