Hair loss victim here. So far about 5 days of 1000 of vitamin d small SOFTGELS from walmart, SPRING VALLEY, IT'S NOT LISTED IN THE "Brand product used" list below so I just picked anything. I have been severely Vit D deficient for several years, as well as having Sjogren's Syndrome. Symptoms have included general joint pain, tiredness, depression. We started me on 10k units once per week of Vit D3. By Day 6 I was in severe pain. Day 3 I was barely moving. By Day 5 the pain started to decrease. Day 6 and 7 I was close to normal pain levels. This is in response to the person whose daughter is going through allergy symptoms. I found the vitamind3 capsule from target very effective. I am a mom of a soon to be 3 year old and I never felt this better during past 3 years. I have hypothyroidism and on top of it pregnancy made it worse. my Dr. put me on 5000 mg of vit. d a day, When I take it I feel funny, I cut it down to 3000 a day that is a little better.
