While you have to pick up the right type of B6. This can help stop the racing of the mind and help increase concentration. My chiropractor told me about this in the use of test anxiety and eliminating some of the impact so that you can focus on what you need to. This vitamin also gives you a lot energy that usually last all day with out having to boost with any caffeine at all. Product used: ...

I heard this could help relieve water retention and began to take a supplement. However, after 2 weeks of taking this, my stomach began to hurt, after a few days more it was extremely tender to the touch. Everywhere from top of my stomach to the bottom of my abdomen was tender and so incredibly painful that I may nee to seek ER treatment if it persists...I am going to discontinue use and hope it ...

I started using 50 Mg and saw a huge difference in my mood. I went from very depressed and moody to only slight irritation the next period. My overall mood has improved tremendously as well.

I was told to take about 50mg but have now been told to try 150 - 200mg daily. I am doing chemo and they said it helps some people with the tingles. I wish it helped but so far have not seen it. Then again it mot reduce the time after chemo treatments for the tingles. I have not tried to stop it all together. I figure it can't hurt me..

I give B6 to my daughter who has a seizure disorder. She takes Keppra and B6 helps to balance out her mood. We've noticed a significant drop in aggression and anxiety. We also notice aggression increase if she misses a couple of days with the B6. My only concern is that she seems to sleep less when she is taking the B6. Would love to hear if anyone else is experiencing the same.

I was told to take this vitamin due to the numbness and tingling in my feet and hands from Isoniazid, or INH, is an anti-bacterial drug 300mg daily for latent TB infection prophylactic treatment. The numbness and tingling went away that next day, yet unknown if the N/V came from INH or B6, although my mood is better, again uncertain if that is the side effects of B6 or INH both have these listed in the long list of side effects. I do know it works and I will continue to use.

I starting taking 200mg of B-6 on advice of my Internist for muscle pain (spasms) and nerve pain of unknown origin. I was advised to take for 4 weeks then see my doctor again for follow up visit. I told my doctor that I didn't really notice difference at the time. My doctor said STOP taking for 2 weeks then START AGAIN. Keep journal of symptons, side affects etc. I went home that day, stopped for 2wks and by END OF ONE WEEK I notice BIG difference. PAIN returned and I just hadn't noticed how much pain I was in before-I had gotten used to 2yrs of pain/spasms and just "dealt with it". I REPEATED 4wks ON and 2wks OFF and it was a VERY NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE this time. I have been on B-6, 200mg DAILY for 2 YEARS now and it WORKS FOR ME and my "NERVE" PAIN and MUSCLE SPASMS. I DON'T GO A DAY WITHOUT IT. My doctor continues to MONITOR my use of it and he has patients it HAS AND HAS NOT worked for. SAFE TO TRY. Dosage SEEMS to be KEY FACTOR in success for PAIN TREATMENT I would say.BOTTOM LINE: I AM VERY HAPPY AND HAVE LESS PAIN BY 85-90% continually.PS MY HAIR IS GROWING 2INCHES EVERY 6 WEEKS....WAS losing it before (due to menopause/hormones out of whack). My hairdresser and other salon clients are hooked on B-6 now for HAIR/NAIL GROWTH, plenty have been through CHEMO for cancer treatment and I got them to try B-6 and NOW THEY SWEAR BY IT...great SIDE EFFECT: HAIR GROWTH !!Read More Read Less

My docter recommended I take 200mg daily for severe PMS symptoms, primarily major mood swings and depression. The only noticable sid effect is a metallic taste and smell, which at times is pretty strong. I have noticed an increase in energy not but not to the point of having that "can't sit still" feeling.

For years I noticed that when taking B6, my cholesterol was always great. I stopped taking B6 at menopause and my cholesterol went up. I am thrilled to find that what I had thought about B6 is true. Thanks for the great info. I'm back on my B6!

I was taking ginger capsules (250mg extract each) for morning sickness about every 2-3 hours all day long, until I read an article in a medical journal warning about the possible adverse (albeit yet unproven) side effects to my unborn child. I switched to 25mg of B6, and I only need to take it twice per day to keep my nausea at bay. I am functioning at a much higher level now than I was last week on ginger (I am 5 weeks pregnant).
