Kirsten Tagami

Kirsten Tagami leads the team that produces and selects content for WebMD’s first international consumer health site, BootsWebMD.com, which serves the United Kingdom and reaches more than 7 million users a month. The site is a partnership with Boots, a leading British pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer. Tagami also is in charge of newsletters, social media, and other editorial initiatives for the U.K. audience.

Tagami began her career with Newsweek International in London, where she was a freelance reporter. She has been a staff writer at daily newspapers, including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The (Louisville) Courier-Journal, where she won national awards for her coverage of a health crisis in the thoroughbred breeding industry. Her writing also has appeared in USA Today, the Chicago Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, and other regional and national publications.

Tagami has a degree in economics, graduating with honors from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
